Fuel cell and electrolyzer development extends from catalyst discovery to single-cell studies and full-stack validation. Whether developing new electrocatalysts, optimizing MEAs or testing durability under realistic operating conditions, each stage needs instruments with the right current range, EIS capability and gas/humidity/temperature control.
At the catalyst level, ORR/OER/HER activity and durability are compared with RDE/RRDE (BluRev); SECM (M470) is used to study membrane lifetime and local phenomena.
At the cell level, polarization curves, OCV, CV, LSV and EIS reveal kinetics, mass transport and degradation mechanisms; with the FlexP booster, current densities up to 8 A/cm² (200 A) on a 25 cm² cell. Bidirectional current capability allows the same platform to be used for fuel cells and electrolyzers.
At the stack level: synchronized multichannel measurement (50 V stack with VMP-3e + SAM-50), long-term durability tests and gas/humidity/temperature control with BluPEM stations.

Let us determine the cell type, current range and channel count together.
